Frank McLaughlin is a highly regarded guitarist and piper who has worked with many top musicians on the Scottish music scene, including the Mick West Trio.
This two hour Intermediate Guitar Workshop covers a range of techniques used in accompanying traditional music and song including: Learn to flat pick a tune and explore chords and rhythms used to accompany it. This will focus on using rhythm, chord voicing and dynamics to build the guitar part.
The second part of the workshop will look at finger picking ideas for accompanying song using traditional songs as examples.
